Homeland security upgrades to checkpoints at Edwards Air Force Base. Survey, design, and construction of traffic calming and threat reduction improvements for 1/2 mile roadway section for inbound and outbound lanes at each of 2 gate locations. Design included reverse bank curves, parking areas, drainage improvements, detail traffic timing, and truck inspection facilities to accomplish Air Force goals of increased safety and threat reduction.
